This tool is suitable for those of you who want to know more about self-esteem, what affects it, and what can change it. With the right tools, it is possible to improve your self-esteem!
- Content of this tool
This tool helps you understand and strengthen your self-esteem – and build a kinder, more realistic relationship with yourself. It consists of six parts:
- Intro
You learn what self-esteem is, how it can be mapped, and how schemas influence your self-image. You are encouraged to reflect on your own starting point before you begin.
- Self-esteem
You explore how self-esteem develops in social contexts, why it is important, and how it changes over time. You also reflect on the gap between your current and desired self.
- Mental schemas
You gain insight into schemas, their origins, and how they shape your thoughts and behavior. You practice identifying and challenging negative schemas.
- Self-compassion
You practice meeting yourself with kindness instead of criticism. Exercises help you develop self-care, forgiveness, and a more balanced view of yourself.
- Assertiveness
You learn how self-esteem affects relationships and how to communicate more clearly. You practice assertiveness, setting boundaries, and embracing vulnerability.
- Moving forward
You summarize what you have learned and make a plan for how to maintain changes. You reflect on setbacks, prevention, and long-term growth.
